Mark Higdon

Prior to law school, Mark worked as a claims representative for State Farm Insurance Company where he handled automobile claims. Much of his time as a claims adjustor involved the handling of both, litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims.The knowledge and experience Mark acquired as a claims adjustor has proven to be invaluable to his practice of law.

While working for State Farm, Mark attended the night program at Loyola University in order to obtain his juris doctorate. He received the Anselmo-Stewart Scholarship and graduated in the top 25% of his class.

After graduating from law school, Mark went to work for Gordon, Arata, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan where he practiced in their commercial litigation section. There, Mark practiced oil and gas law, healthcare law and bankruptcy. Since forming Creighton, Richards & Higdon, LLC, Mark’s practice focuses primarily on insurance law, general insurance defense, oil and gas law, franchise law, commercial litigation, construction law, wills/trusts and estate law, bankruptcy, and real estate law.

Mark is married to Juliette and has two children, Zachary (age 10) and Kelsey (age 5).
